Today, we are proud to launch the Hudson backpack, a 100-piece collaboration with Zio & Sons, a New York City-based creative studio, led by stylist, photographer, interior designer, and constant traveler Anthony D'Argenzio. We collaborated with Anthony for over a year to design, source, and perfect a bag that fit both his creative needs and Zio and Sons' timeless, understated, vintage-inspired aesthetic. The result is a one-of-a-kind bag for multidisciplinary creatives and travelers, with versatile features like a removable camera insert, dedicated laptop area, a slip-pocket on back for reading material, and a zippered compartment inside the front pocket for added security.

As we began the process last summer, Anthony was simultaneously designing This Old Hudson, a rentable weekend escape and studio space that Zio & Sons runs in Hudson, New York, two hours outside of the city. Just as the features of the Hudson were developed with Anthony's daily needs in mind, we designed the bag to match This Old Hudson's interior. For the first time we've incorporated an un-dyed natural waxed canvas, and paired it with solid brass hardware in a natural finish, our signature antique cognac leather, and navy details throughout, like the pinstripe lining.
With both This Old Hudson and the Hudson backpack complete, we took the opportunity to photograph them together. We invite you to take a first look at the Hudson below and explore the bag further in our online store. The Hudson is available exclusively at onabags.com, to guests at This Old Hudson, and at Hawkins New York on Warren Street in Hudson.
