Three weeks ago, we asked the ONA community to help us name our newest color and premium material: a full-grain leather dyed a rich hue. We landed on “Bordeaux”—out of over 300 suggestions—because it captured so much more than just a color. As a place, Bordeaux inspires romance and wanderlust, by turns rambling wine country and architectural wonder. As a pillar of old-world winemaking, it connotes craftsmanship and quality, technique and excellence.
Today we are proud to release the Leather Bowery in Bordeaux, based on the Bowery silhouette that embodies many of the things we love about “Bordeaux.” It's handcrafted, built from premium components, and designed to be timeless; and as our smallest, most popular, and most versatile bag, it has traveled the world many times over (including to French wine country) with thousands in the ONA community.
