Per tradition, we've curated a Mother's Day gift guide with picks from the ONA community. Below, five photographers share their most loved items that they believe every mom would appreciate whether she's a new mom, professional mom, or soon-to-be mom!
Madsen Cycle - These bikes were made for families! Designed in cute, vibrant colors (we have a soft spot for the vintage red one), they are built with a rear cargo bucket that can fit up to four children — with seatbelts! The Madsen cargo can hold up to 600 pounds, so you can pack up all of your essentials, kiddos and pups included, for your afternoon outing.
Marrow jewelry gift card - Jillian Sassone has mastered taking heirloom pieces and flipping them into these extravagant pieces of art. I have never been so obsessed!
Cinépolis gift card - From being comfy cozy in a dark theater, to the perfectly buttered popcorn or the simple pleasures of togetherness, movie nights have become a Schaffer family staple. Cinépolis has taken movie night to a whole new level through its many luxury cinema and premium theater concepts. This, my friends, is our perfect family date night.
The Leather Bowery - This is my go-to ONA Bag. It is crafted with the perfect color of leather and size is just right for camera, especially on the go. I feel like this line of bags truly represents the photographer that goes the distance that has grit and tenacity running through their veins! I don’t go anywhere without someone saying, “Where did you get that camera bag?” My reply, “There is no place like ONA."
Yearly Co. anniversary and milestone bangles - I love simple, meaningful jewelry. When I recently read the story behind Yearly Co.’s bangles, I immediately told my husband that their bangles are the only present I want for every holiday, birthday and anniversary until I catch up to our twenty one years of marriage.
Chaco’s z chromatic sandals - I recently invested in a pair of all red Chaco sandals to wear while my family travels around the world for the month of June. They come in so many cute monochromatic colors that are stylish, travel worthy and will add a pop of color to my neutral outfits.
Lunya silk pajamas - I am a mama who is at the end of her childbearing years. Not only do these silk pajamas look and feel incredible, but they also help tremendously with feeling cool and comfortable on nights when my personal hot season comes.
The Camps Bay backpack - This backpack has traveled the world with me solo and while flying with my family. It packs an incredible amount of camera gear and personal items comfortably. I rarely travel without it.
The Nylon Bowery in black - Please do not sleep on this little black bag! I changed the straps to a studded guitar strap and use it as my everyday purse to carry my camera around with me. I have lost track of the number of times I have received compliments and questions about it.
Lunya silk cami pant set - Anyone who knows me well knows I take my at home wardrobe (aka: comfy clothes) very seriously, and I love finding pieces that are both cozy and beautiful. Love this silk cami pant set from Lunya, especially in this lovely blush/nude color.
Mejuri necklace - This necklace it so pretty and classic and goes with everything! Mejuri has so many beautiful and affordable pieces that look great alone or layered together!
CB2 brass watering can - I’m currently using my teapot to water our little garden each morning, so this watering can would definitely be a stunning step up! So dang sleek!
Le Creuset “Fleur" round dutch oven - I love to cook and I’ve got my eye on this beauty!
The Clifton & The Savannah - I love the adjustable compartments and it looks like the perfect travel companion for photographers and parents alike. I also love the savannah II in black - So classic and chic for the everyday.
Nisolo huaraches - They are the perfect summer sandal for dressing up or down and they're a great company too for their dedication to sustainability and fair trade wages. I really love them and their shoes!
Tiny Tags dog tag necklace - I wear mine everyday with everyone's initials on it. I love layering necklaces and it pairs really nicely with a choker or a shorter necklace, making this one a constant. It has mine and my husband's initials on one side, and the kids on the other.
Cotopaxi leggings - This is another fantastic sustainable company. Plus, they just love the use of color -- and lots of it -- in their clothing. It's eye candy just browsing the site. Narrowing down which color legging on the other hand...
The Prince Street - Mine has served me sooo well over the last 4+ years, but that smaller Leather Bond Street is such a perfect size for outings when the larger bag isn't necessary. And for slightly dressier occasions, The Savannah is perfect with its curvy lines and classic design.
Free People gift card - Great for any moment. Free People has the best non maternity dresses for my currently growing baby bump.
Spa day - Because who wouldn’t want to get pampered?
Vanguard VEO 265AB aluminum travel tripod - With a new baby on the way, I would love to have this tripod to be able to take photos whenever I feel like it.
The Leather Brixton - As a wedding photographer in Seattle, I love this bag. It’s a good size... fits everything I need. Also, I love that it’s leather because in case of rain, my gear will not get wet.
