Inspiration is constant for Australia-based photographer and designer Elle-May Leckenby. Her blog is an assemblage of moving images and photographs expressive of her creativity and personal style. Here, she shares some of her recent work and more about her biggest motivation, dream project and what she wishes to accomplish this year.

Describe your aesthetic in five words or less: Timeless, ethereal, and simple.
Go-to gear: Nikon D800, a Sigma 35 mm lens, and my imagination!
Favorite place to travel to: The European countryside and seaside, and New Zealand.
Biggest creative influence: Probably my fiancé and period films.
Thing you can’t live without: Having an excited joyful mindset.
What motivates you: Spiritual rap music.
Time of day are you most creative: My creativity overwhelms me in the deep of night and when I go for night walks. I also can't say how much I love dusk and dawn - I am outside almost every dusk.
Biggest challenge: Right now, my biggest challenge is sticking to my direction, which I know will provide me with passion and excitement in return.
One piece of advice that stuck with you: To always love people, stay true, and exercise whatever you're gifted in.
Mistake you’ve learned from: I have learned to be more aware and present every day and to have true joy in moments I am physically in. I was rejecting what was present in my life because of work, social media or holding onto a mindset that was not my own. I realized my memory was getting so bad because I wasn't taking a lot of life in, so being present is so important for me. Exercising better boundaries is something I am still excitedly working on - every time I do it, it is so incredible.
Project you are most proud of: It's so hard to say - I am always so critical of my work, however I thoroughly enjoy doing almost all of it.
Most used phrase: 'I reckon'
Earliest memory: Watching my older sister ride her bike into the pool and my granddad jumping in after her.
Hidden talent: I can bake muffins, cakes and cookies without using a recipe.
Dream project: I would love to create a documentary of people overcoming particular difficulties to bring light to issues and inspire growth and potential. I would also love to release women's antique inspired pinafores and dresses.
Most recent “a-ha” moment: All day every day.
Goal for 2017: To focus more on serving others than my own agenda.
