Summer Travel Series: Jillian Wishart's Babymoon in Iceland

Over the years, we have really enjoyed experiencing the many adventures our community and customers have shared with us through #whereONAgoes on Instagram. To celebrate summer travel season, we plan to highlight a series of trips that the members of our community have taken with their ONAs. To kick things off, we're featuring our Director of Sales, Jillian Wishart's babymoon in Iceland. See below as she looks back at some of her favorite photos and moments from the vacation.

Where: Reykjavik and southern Iceland

Why: Babymoon

Pictured above: The Clifton Backpack

What did you take with you: My camera, the Clifton backpack, LL Bean Boots, and a bright orange beanie!

Best view: The top of Fjaðrárgljúfur Canyon.

Best thing you ate/drank: The chorizo sausage at Bjour Gardurinn and the almond milk latte at Reyjavik Roasters.

Conversation that will stick with you: There wasn’t one in particular, but because this was our last big trip before baby, all of our time together felt incredibly memorable.

Landmark that was worth the hype: Gullfoss waterfall – there were a lot of tourists but the enormity of it is truly breathtaking.

Day trips? As I’m sure everyone would recommend, the Golden Circle is an easy day trip and you hit several of the main attractions in a few hours.

They have the best: Waterfalls.

Best thing $5 can buy? A ticket to the top of Hallgrímskirkja Church in Reykjavik – such amazing views of all the colorful houses.

How to pretend you're a local? Eat hot dogs every day – seriously, they are good here!

Travel tips: Plan to rent a car so you can stop along the roads whenever you want. There is so little traffic, it feels like you’re the only person for miles and is very easy to pull off the road and explore.

Souvenirs: A wool hat from Geysir.

If you went back you would: Go during a season when you can see the Northern Lights.

The shot you’re most proud of: Fjaðrárgljúfur Canyon (see below)
