Today, we proudly release the Madison, a laptop bag designed for the multi-faceted modern woman. A reflection of our roots as a start-up founded by a female entrepreneur, the Madison is handmade from rich saffiano leather. It can serve purely as your handbag or laptop bag, with enough space and organized compartments to be the only thing you carry all day. Add the removable insert and the Madison can hold additional bigger items, like a camera and lenses, while keeping its sleek silhouette. Whatever her passion — entrepreneurship or photography, philanthropy or design — the Madison has the flexibility to facilitate it.
Like all of our bags, the Madison is named after a place close to our hearts - in this case, our first office: a WeWork space on Madison Avenue in Manhattan. There, just a few blocks from Grand Central Station, ONA turned from a two-year old, boot-strapped passion project into a full-fledged small business. We benefited from being surrounded, at WeWork, by other entrepreneurs, creatives, and the growing New York start-up scene. It's why every time we've moved offices since then, they have all been WeWork spaces.
It seemed only appropriate to launch The Madison with someone from our WeWork family. Lexey Radcliff is both an incredible WeWork Community Manager and also our office's next-door-neighbor.
